Position Overview:

As the Marketing Manager at Swara, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our brand's values and business objectives. With a focus on women empowerment, sustainability and ethical fashion, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a strong brand identity. This position involves strategic planning, digital marketing, content creation, partnerships, and community engagement to ensure a seamless customer journey for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brand, both online and offline.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the brand's values and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts integrate seamlessly with product launches, events, and other initiatives.

Brand Positioning:

  • Establish and maintain a strong brand identity that resonates with our target audience.
  • Craft compelling narratives that communicate our brand story, values, and commitment to sustainability.

Digital Marketing:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Analyse performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and drive customer engagement.

Content Creation:

  • Lead the creation of engaging and impactful content that educates and inspires our audience about ethical and sustainable fashion.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop visual and written content for various platforms.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with influencers, like-minded brands, and organizations that align with our values.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships to expand brand reach and foster positive relationships.

Community Engagement:

  • Develop and nurture a strong community around the brand through online and offline channels.
  • Implement initiatives that encourage customer participation and advocacy.

Customer Journey:

  • Ensure a seamless customer journey for our D2C brand, both online and offline, by overseeing all aspects of marketing that contribute to a positive shopping experience.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with an MBA.
  • In-depth knowledge of sustainable practices, fashion trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication (English, Malayalam, Hindi) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Commitment to driving positive change in the fashion industry.

Good To Have:

  • MBA with Marketing specialisation.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role within the ethical or sustainable fashion industry.
