DHAAGA - Handwoven Sarees
Those of you who have been with us on our journey know that we are all about our women in rural India – the #WonderWomen that drives everything we do. It’s always been about creating a better livelihood for them!
Each piece in this collection is handwoven by a special lady sitting in her home in West Bengal. These sarees are not produced in any factory. Each one is a labour of love, woven on the traditional loom by a hard-working woman, who manages her time between family & work & the new troubles brought about by the pandemic.
Introducing to you Dhaaga. Meet Ashmira, Monika, Rupali, Jyotsna, Anjali and Amrita – each saree named after a #WonderWomen weaver.
To everyone who’s been waiting for Swara in other colours, this one’s for you!
