General Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a visionary General Manager to lead a team of 5 talented individuals in marketing, sourcing, graphic designing and operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of ethical and sustainable fashion, possess strong leadership skills, and be ready to take on a pivotal role in our organization. The General Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and CEO, with the potential to be groomed into the COO role based on performance during the first year.

Ettumanoor, Kottayam

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the overall business strategy, aligning marketing, design, sourcing, and operations with the brand's values and goals.
  • Provide visionary leadership to drive the company's growth and impact in the sustainable fashion industry.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration between marketing, design, sourcing, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and achievement of business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor department heads to encourage cross-functional synergy and innovation.

Operational Excellence:

  • Implement processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in operations.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role with a focus on marketing, design, sourcing, and operations within the ethical or sustainable fashion industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sustainable business practices and fashion industry trends.
  • Excellent communication (Malayalam, English & Hindi) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth and innovation.

Good To Have:

  • MBA
  • Proficiency in other regional languages apart from those mentioned above.
  • Additional certifications in Fashion/supply chain/operations/project management.
